Job Description

Gaming client in the Seattle area is looking for a Dialogue Designer to help provide high quality audio. This is a contracting position and is expected to last 12 months with the potential for an extension.

This person will improve and maintain current VO systems and pipeline. Work closely with narrative and audio teams to implement VO into the game and support the overall dialogue needs on our projects.


• Work closely with Dialogue Supervisor to support gaming projects.

• Editorial & mastering of both in-game and cinematic dialogue assets.

• Help manage and organize all dialogue assets for ongoing productions.

• Implementation of dialogue content into engine and databases.

• Ensure all Dialogue content meets high quality audio standards.

Qualifications and Skills

• At least 3 years’ professional experience in game audio, or equivalent.

• Experience and knowledge in recording, editorial, and mastering is required.

• Understanding of audio production workflows.

• Experience using audio editing tools and software (Such as Pro Tools, Reaper, Nuendo).

• Hard-working and driven individual that enjoys working in a team environment.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Experience with game audio middleware (Such as Wwise or FMOD)

• Has shipped at least 1 AAA game title.

• Experience engineering Voice-over sessions.

• Experience in Voice-over production: Tracking and overseeing recording sessions, working with actors.

• Experience with game engines (Such as Unreal, Unity, or proprietary engines).

• Knowledge of scripting languages (Such as LUA, XML, Visual scripting).
