Senior Character Artist
A premier gaming client in the Seattle area is looking for a Senior Character Artist. This position is a full-time direct hire job. There is no contracting involved, you’d be an employee of our client.
The hired candidate will create character clothing and armor assets.
Client is looking for a specialist in making these assets for games.
Must have experience working from high poly to low poly to texturing.
Develop and improve the client's character clothing pipeline.
Perform continual quality checking of clothing assets.
Work closely with team members solving problems and making visually appealing, performance optimized assets.
Minimum of three years of experience in game development.
At least one shipped game as a character artist.
Experience with proper topology and texturing for character assets.
Experience with Zbrush, Maya, 3dS Max, Marvelous Designer, Substance Painter, UE 4.
Experience with creating interchangeable clothing assets for character customization.
Experienced and comfortable with the technical concepts involved in character asset implementation.
Client will want to review an updated, professional portfolio that shows clear examples of clothing and armor assets you have made for games.
