Job Salary: To $55k with 15% bonus potential

Job Description

We have a client in south St. Louis County with a need to hire a Windows System Administrator.

The job will require technical skills in Windows Server, Active Directory, updating system software, applying patches, new releases, working with anti-virus software, managing daily and off-site backups, installing new hardware (servers and desktop/laptop/mobile devices).

This is a full-time, direct-hire, perm position, there is no contracting involved, this is not a contract-to-hire, and you would be an employee of our client on day-one. Client is in the HVAC business so any experience you have with heating or cooling systems is a major plus.

A portion of this job will require you to be on-site at the client’s main office, handling network and server issues for the office, working with end users, fixing problems and installing new things.

Another portion of this job will have you working at customer sites, installing hardware and software that will operate sophisticated heating and cooling software applications that monitor and control large HVAC systems at customer locations.

A large part of this position will require the candidate to work alone with individual clients, communicating with the clients occasionally, but mostly doing hands-down system administration and getting things to work.

Candidate must be very detail oriented. Cross your t's and dot your i's. Make sure things are perfect. Failures in this position can be costly, so the client needs someone who is close to being a perfectionist.

Other technical requirements…Windows Server 2012, Exchange, SharePoint, Office, remote administration tools, 1 to 3 years of experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
